We didn't find him funny and have skipped his shows when he's the comedian onboard. If you check recent reviews you may have luck with finding out who has been doing sailings previous. Just off the Triumph January 3-8, 2011 sailing from New Orleans and they featured Cowboy Bill (not very funny) and Mutzie (VERY funny!!).
None of the four were sidesplittingly hilarious, but they were all solid with a few laugh out loud moments. We also had him on Splendor several months before that. His show was supremely unfunny and the guy was, frankly, a bit of a dick. When people got up to leave his show he would "have a go at them" from the stage as though it were part of the act. Asking them where they were going, why were they leaving - demanding it actually. The people ignored him, but it felt a little too much like abuse disguised as part of the act.
No list exist, but some of the comedians that are common to do shows on the ships have them posted on their website. I know Allyn Ball has his schedule posted and others have mentioned they have websites that would list their schedule... These guys were all head and shoulders above the comedian they had on Spirit in March last year.
On my 7-day Mardi Gras cruise last year we had 6 comedians. On the other hand, many guests prefer the cruise line’s “Your Time” open seating dining option, by far the most popular time selected for dinner. Guests with “Your Time” dining could easily attend an earlier, pre-dinner show. Similarly, guests with later dining times could also enjoy the earlier show. That's the problem you have with a captive audience like on a cruise ship.
